Leveraging her 25 years of healthcare domain experience, including Co-Founder and Chief Engagement Officer and, ultimately, President and CEO of a venture capital backed start up, Healthrageous, Mary Beth's work focuses on strategy (including new models and business model innovation), growth (both business development and sales), and product design and management.

She has broad stakeholder experience within digital health, connected health, pharmaceutical, behavioral, disease management, wellness, health system, employee assistance programs, physician practice, pharmacy benefit management, and health plans. Her experience also includes sales and business development to pharmaceuticals, health plans, employers, state Medicaid and CMS Medicare.

Mary Beth holds a BBA in marketing and a BFA in commercial design. She believes that the combination of the two disciples has contributed to her ability to create new value-driven services aligned with target market(s) needs. She describes herself as a "visionary architect" and someone who can articulate a market need, visualize and create a viable design, create an execution plan and budget, secure the funding and provide the leadership to achieve the vision. This has enabled the organizations she has led and worked for to achieve competitive innovation.

Prior to establishing Chalk & Associates, she was a co-founder of the pioneering digital health company, Healthrageous, delivering a prevention and chronic disease lifestyle software platform. Healthrageous was purchased by Humana in 2013. Prior to Healthrageous, she was the Director of Business Development for Pfizer Health Solutions where she identified and developed population health partnerships and alliances that resulted in improving health outcomes. Prior to joining Pfizer, Chalk served for seven years as the Chief Operating Officer of Resources For Living where she led the initiative to create and validate an outcomes-informed behavioral health treatment software. The company was purchased by Aetna. Prior to Resources For Living she worked for over six years with large health systems and physician practice groups in the areas of clinical and operational outcomes improvement.

She is a 2000 alumna of Texas Leadership and a 1991 alumna of Leadership Tennessee.
